How much does 3D rendering cost?
Short answer: at VEYLO STUDIO, starting prices run from $190 to $690 USD depending on what the render shows — from $190 per floor for a 3D floor plan to $690 per image for a bird's-eye view of a whole site. You get one fixed price for your project within 24 hours of sending the brief, before any work starts.
Prices by type of render
| Render | From | Best for |
|---|---|---|
| 3D floor plan | $190 USD per floor | Listings, sales brochures and comparing layout options |
| Interior | $220 USD per image | Design reviews, property listings, brochures and presentations |
| Exterior | $390 USD per image | Planning submissions, off-plan sales and development marketing |
| Section perspective | $450 USD per image | Multi-storey homes, show apartments and explaining layouts |
| Bird's-eye view | $690 USD per image | Masterplans, housing developments and investor decks |
Prices are in US dollars and are starting prices: every project gets its own fixed quote from the drawings you send.
What 3D rendering costs across the market
There is no standard price list. Studio guides put most architectural still images between $250 and $5,000 each, depending on the project and how detailed the image is (Maverick Frame, October 2026). Freelancers usually charge less than studios for the same image:
| Render | Freelancers | Studios |
|---|---|---|
| Interior | $250–$1,200 per image | $600–$1,800 per image |
| Exterior | $300–$1,500 per image | $800–$2,800 per image |
| Hourly rate | $25–$150 per hour | $75–$250 per hour |

Examples: what a project costs
Most projects need more than one image. These totals add up our starting prices; your fixed quote follows from your drawings.
| Project | From | What it includes |
|---|---|---|
| Apartment listing | $630 USD | One 3D floor plan and two interiors |
| New house | $1,440 USD | Two exteriors and three interiors |
| Small housing development | $1,920 USD | One bird's-eye view, two exteriors and one section perspective |
Per image or per hour?
Some studios and freelancers bill by the hour, so the final cost depends on how long the work takes. We price each render per image, and 3D floor plans per floor, and give you one fixed price for the project within 24 hours of the brief. You know the total before any work starts.
What's included in the price
- Camera angles approved on a simple preview first, before any detail work begins
- Two revision rounds, with changes turned around the same day
- Finished images in 4K, ready for print, web and presentations
- Five working days from an approved brief for a standard set of images
- Source files kept, so extra views later cost less
What changes the price
The fixed quote reflects what your project actually needs:
- How many views you need. Each image is priced on its own, and the whole set is quoted as one fixed price for the project.
- The size of the project. Larger sites and housing developments get their own timeline with the quote.
- Extra revision rounds. Two are included; anything beyond that is quoted before we start it.
- Day and dusk versions. If you want the same view at both times of day, the second version is quoted with the project, before any work starts.
- Views added later. Because we keep the source files, extra views of the same project cost less.
Why some renders cost more than others
The price follows how much an image has to show. A 3D floor plan shows one floor from above. An interior shows one room with your chosen furniture, materials and light. An exterior adds the facade, landscaping and street. A section perspective cuts through the building to show every floor at once, and a bird's-eye view shows the whole site — buildings, roads, gardens and the area around them.

Why quotes differ so much between studios
Two quotes for the same project can be far apart because they include different things. When you compare, check:
- Whether the price is per image or per hour. An hourly quote can grow; a fixed price can't.
- How many revision rounds are included. Some quotes include none, so every change is billed.
- The finished resolution. An image for a listing and an image for a printed brochure need different sizes.
- How detailed the image is. Custom furniture, landscaping and people take longer than a simple massing view.
- The turnaround. A tight deadline often costs more.
How to get an exact quote
Send the drawings in any form — CAD, SketchUp, Revit or PDF — plus material references, the mood you are after, the views you need and your deadline. A sketch is enough to start the conversation. You get one fixed price within 24 hours, before anything starts.
Try it before you pay
Send the drawings for one view of your project and get one draft render free — draft resolution, with a small watermark — so you can judge the quality before you order anything. The 48 hours start once we confirm the slot and have the agreed files. No commitment.
